Being a good friend-Matters!
“Don’t make friends who are comfortable to be with. Make friends who will force you to lever yourself up.” — Thomas J. Watson
Being a good friend can take a whole lot of effort, even more than being a good person in general. It can be challenging to balance being a good friend, being a good person, and maintaining your own life. This blog looks at the different relationships we might have with our friends and covers the things we can do to improve our friendships.
What makes a good friend?
Being a friend is one of the most important things that a person can have. A friend that you can rely on will be one of the closest people you will have in your life.
Deep down, we all want to be someone's true friend. The world would be a better place if everyone valued the qualities of a good friend.
Even as adults, there is a need for us to have friends. However, given that we all live busy lives, how do we find the time to make new friends or even nurture the old ones?
Friendships are important in life. Good friends can help us deal with our problems, make us laugh, and give us good advice. The qualities of a good friend are important and some people have a better ability to connect with others.
Friends are the ones who are always there to help us through the tough times in life. However, not all friends are created equal and there is a lot of difference in the quality of friends that you have.
Friendship is the most important relationship in our life. It is like the backbone of our lives. Even the greatest of men had great friends, who were by their side through all the ups and downs in their lives.
If we look at the importance of friendship in the life of great men, one name that will come up is Aristotle. He lived a life of great contentment because of his friends.

5. Be a trustworthy friend.
6. Maintain respect and respectful boundaries.
7. Give them your time.
8. Reciprocal connection.
The role of a good friend in our life
A good friend can be one of the most important things in our lives. We can learn a lot from our friends. We can learn how to be better people and how to be more productive members of society. Making friends is not an easy task and we need to show our friends that we care about them and that we respect their feelings and their ideas.
Friendship is a bond that is built on trust, support, and understanding. It is often easy to find a friend, but it's hard to keep one. A friend goes through the ups and downs in our lives and provides strength and support when we need it.
They provide the kind of support that we would want from our family but we don't always get. They will listen to us and provide us with advice and the best way to solve our problems.
It is not just someone who will always be there for you, but it is also someone who will help you in your hard times. Someone who will make you smile with his/her silly jokes. A good friend could be that person who could show you that sometimes, you need to let go of all your worries as life is too short, and today is not promised to be there tomorrow.
It is also that person who would encourage you not just to be there, but to be the best version of yourself. As we grow older it's all too easy to lose touch with friends; we also try and find new friends, but it's harder than you think.
A good friend is someone who is like an extended part of our family, who accepts us as we are; who shares our happiness and our sorrows; who motivates us to reach greater heights, and who stands by us through thick and thin.
It is not just a cliché that a friend is a person you can trust, turn to, and who will be there for you in good times and bad. A good friend is all of these things and more. When you have a good friend, you have a true companion. You are able to rely on your friend's understanding, support and encouragement. You can share your thoughts and feelings with no fear of being judged. You share not just your highs but your lows, too. A good friend is the one who knows you inside and out; the one who will be there for you whenever you need them.
