As a reminder, the fourth-generation GT Speed employs the British marque’s Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain, a plug-in hybrid setup comprising a 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine, which churns out 441 kW, and an electric motor that produces 140 kW. Combined, the plug-in hybrid arrangement produces 575 kW and 1 000 N.m of torque, making the new GT the most powerful series-production vehicle ever created by Bentley. According to the company, the new GT Speed sprints to 100 km/h from a standstill in 3.2 seconds, before topping out at 335 km/h.
However, to manage all of this power, the new iteration has been equipped with a brand-new chassis setup, which features new two-chamber air springs, replete with new dual-valve dampers, and the firm’s Dynamic Ride 48 V active anti-roll control system, an electronic limited-slip differential and torque vectoring.
