Maruti Suzuki, the Japanese automaker’s Indian subsidiary, has showcased an adventure-focused concept of the ever-popular Jimny 5-door at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo in India. Fitted with a range of off-road-focused upgrades and accessories, meet the Jimny Conqueror Concept.
Finished in a unique two-tone exterior matte paint scheme, which transitions from a sand-like hue to black, the Suzuki Jimny Conqueror Concept includes such items as a winch, snorkel, roof rails and a rear-mounted ladder. A shovel, sited on the spare wheel, an additional fuel can, fitted to the side of the vehicle, and snow tracks are also included in the package. A reinforced front bumper, along with added engine protection, is also present. Further enhancing its off-road credentials, the show car rides on 16-inch alloy wheels, shod in all-terrain tyres.

Despite the rugged upgrades, the Jimny Conqueror Concept retains the standard car’s mechanical setup. As a reminder, the Jimny is exclusively available with Suzuki’s familiar K15B powertrain, tuned to produce 75 kW and 130 N.m of torque. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-pot can be had with either a five-speed manual cog swapper or four-speed automatic transmission, both of which including a low-range transfer case.
Maruti Suzuki has confirmed that the concept is solely intended for demonstration purposes and will not enter production. However, thanks to the Jimny’s customisability, transforming a stock-standard example to a ‘Conqueror’ is highly possible. Noteworthy, however, the brand aims to use feedback gathered from reactions to the concept to inform potential future iterations of the Jimny.
